Are classical Jewish texts advocating peace or violence?  Dr. Eisen explores this ambiguity and gives us insights into how these texts are relevant to understanding the struggles facing Jews in both Israel and the Diaspora.  

 

Dr. Robert Eisen is Professor of Religion and Director of the Judaic Studies program at the George Washington University.
